I am so mad at...

after I thought I was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay ahead of the game by ordering my girls their darling monogrammed backpacks with polka dots they, UPS, say you need to call pottery Barn and start an investigation because they should have been there by now, oh actually she said they are being returned to the warehouse. HUH? WHAT? So I call Pottery Barn and they said, we credited your account on 08/10/09! You did because I am looking at my account and all I see is where you took $97.89 on 08/04/09. OHHHHH, we sent you a "gift card". REALLY? I don't want a gift card I want my damn money back and I want those damn backpacks! Ok, I didn't say that but I was thinking it! SHEESH! So, I ordered 2 NON monogrammed PLAIN backpacks from LandsEnd and will have them monogrammed promptly when they arrive, if they arive. Keep your fings crossed. My girls are bummed.

Is it me or....

am I the only one that gets excited filling the buggy with newly purchased pencils, pens, paper, binders, crayons and markers and all of the other miscellaneous school supplies. I love the excitement that was evident in my daughters eyes as the mailman delivered the mail yesterday knowing they were going to find out who their teachers were.. we got exactly who we wanted and my girls are counting down the days to return to school. Now all we need are their new book bags from Pottery Barn and we are set.. They all got new shoes except my middle girl who said her tennis shoes were perfectly fine and she didn't need a new pair that "I could save my money"! So guess what I did.. bought her a fresh pair of Sperry's, her favorite.

The Reason I haven't Posted...

My blog appears on my co-workers FACEBOOK page every time!! Oh and my home computer is messed up again, and I should be logging in loans and NOT lollygaging on my blog. I am getting the Hubs to fix it when he comes home this weekend, I can't take it anymore.. Hope y'all are having a marvelous time..

The birthday weekend was wonderful! Three days of bliss with the hubby in beautiful Charleston, SC... enough said.

Dog Gone It!!

Why oh why do I not think ahead! Just when I thought I was so smart and going to pack up the girlies and head back down to .... Charleston, SC for the 4th, I am stopped dead in my tracks by a four -legged adorable little doggie who has no place to go... Guess we will spend the weekend at our little ole Club with a bunch of our friends, could be worse right?

is where I have been.. Called the Electrician, oh uh, last week, he showed up today, after a friendly reminder call from MOI. We now have power restored to the back of the house and I now have internet access and tv in the bedroom. I am going to take to the bed and flip channels.. yes, that is exactly what I am going to do!!

Is it wrong....

to get your husband to mow the lawn when you haven't seen him in a week?? I think not! I told him I miss seeing his manly hunk of self pushing the mower back and forth!! it worked, now he just came in and said he was going to update the flower beds! HUH? What? He must REALLY miss me...
