A sad day for Baseball...

Some of my greatest memories as a little girl were Sunday at the Masters with my Dad and a double header Phillies game for my birthday! I was one of two girls and was the tomboy of the two, so naturally I took a shine to my Dad who was a sports fanatic. Well, today baseball lost the voice of the PHILLIES, Harry Kalas! I can recall many a game with him proclaiming "OUTTA HERE"! God Bless Harry. And Mark "the bird" Fidyrich, pitcher, found dead at the age of 54 on his farm, seems to have been an accident.
So sad to have lost two great men of the game of baseball. I love baseball and it is still an inexpensive day to spend with your family and create wonderful memories. As the Mom of 3 girls, we sometimes go to the LL field and cheer on the boys, I am sure they love it and it is a great way to stay connected with friends.
